WS-C3850-24U-S Overview
The Cisco WS-C3850-24U-S features 24 stackable 10/100/1000 Cisco UPOE ports, supplemented by 1 network module slot, a 1100 W power supply, and a 1RU chassis. Within the Cisco Catalyst 3850 Series, emphasis is placed on supporting the convergence of wired and wireless access seamlessly.
Notably, the switch is powered by the new Cisco Unified Access Data™ Plane (UADP) Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), which facilitates uniform wired-wireless policy enforcement, application visibility, flexibility, and application optimization. This convergence, further strengthened by the improved Cisco StackWise®-480 technology, underscores resilience and reliability in networking environments.
